naprawa tego problemu to nie tak jak w przypadku cs (usunięcie ClientRegistry.blob) lecz cos takiego:

Problem oficjalnie powstał w listopadzie po aktualizacji klienta steam. Bug dotyczył jedynie Source SDK Base 2007, wystarczy wyłączyć steama, przejść do swojej lokalizacji steam (np. C:\Program Files\Steam\) i usunąć wszystkie pliki poza Steam.exe oraz folderem SteamApps. Po tym wystarczy uruchomić steama ponownie i wszystko powinno już być w porządku.
